1) Who we are
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website 3detplus.ch and the purchase of products and services from 3D ETPLUS Sàrl (“3D ETPLUS”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Jurisdiction: Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2) Definitions
- Site: 3detplus.ch and its subdomains.
- Customer/you: any natural or legal person using the Site or purchasing from 3D ETPLUS.
- Products: physical items we sell (e.g., 3D-printed parts, kits, accessories).
- Services: work performed by us (e.g., printer repair, maintenance, file fixing/optimization, custom design & printing, training/consulting).
- Business hours: Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 (Europe/Zurich). “Closures” include public holidays in Vaud and announced office closures.
3) Scope & priority
- These Terms apply to all quotations, orders, deliveries, Services, and Products unless a signed contract states otherwise.
- If there is a conflict, special terms in a signed contract prevail over these Terms.
4) Website use
- You may use the Site for lawful purposes only.
- We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security risks, or maintenance.
- Content on the Site is for information only and may change without notice.
5) Quotes, orders & custom work
- Quotes are estimates, valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If the projected cost may exceed the quote by more than 15%, we will inform you before proceeding.
- For custom prints/parts, you are responsible for the correctness of your files, dimensions, tolerances, units, and intended use. We may suggest adjustments; approval (email confirmation is sufficient) authorizes us to proceed.
- Design approvals: proofs, test prints, and prototype photos sent for your approval are deemed accepted if you approve in writing; subsequent changes may incur extra costs.
- Dimensional/finish tolerances: unless specified, FDM parts ±0.3 mm or 0.5%, SLA ±0.2 mm or 0.3% (whichever is larger). Surface finish, color, and texture can vary by material, orientation, and post-processing.
- Use at your risk: our parts are not certified for safety-critical, medical, or aviation uses unless explicitly agreed in writing.
6) Files, content & legality
- You warrant you own or hold the necessary rights to any files/content you provide and that they do not infringe third-party rights or violate law.
- Prohibited content includes illegal, hateful, or infringing material.
- We may refuse work that appears unsafe, unlawful, or unethical.
7) Pricing, taxes & payment
- Prices are in CHF unless stated otherwise. Taxes and shipping are shown at checkout or on the invoice.
- Payment terms:
- Orders ≤ CHF 500: 100% prepayment.
- Orders > CHF 500: 50% deposit to start; balance due before delivery/collection.
- “Urgent/priority” work may carry a surcharge and typically requires prepayment.
- Invoices are sent by email (paper copies or postal reminders may incur a CHF 20 admin fee).
- Late or unpaid balances may lead to suspension of Services and recovery action.
8) Shipping, delivery & risk
- We ship within Switzerland and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted.
- Any delivery dates are indicative, not guaranteed. Delays caused by you (e.g., late files/approvals), third-party carriers, customs, or force majeure do not entitle you to compensation.
- Risk transfers on handover to the carrier or upon collection. International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, and import formalities.
9) Inspection on receipt
- Please inspect items within 48 hours of delivery and notify us promptly of visible damage or wrong items, with photos and order reference. This helps us resolve issues with carriers and suppliers.
10) Returns, exchanges & defects
- Most Products are made to order. Returns/exchanges are only accepted for defective or damaged items on arrival.
- Notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description. If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund (at our discretion). Refunds are typically processed within 7 days after approval.
- Exclusions: normal wear, misuse, modifications by third parties, cosmetic variances inherent to 3D printing, and items built to specifications you approved.
11) Repairs, maintenance & training
- Diagnostics may be chargeable if you decline the repair.
- Repairs may use new or equivalent parts; we will inform you if OEM parts are unavailable.
- Repair warranty: 30 days on the specific repair performed (labour and replaced parts), excluding new faults, misuse, or third-party tampering.
- Missed appointments (<48h notice) may be charged in full.
- Training/consulting is informational; you remain responsible for how you apply it.
12) Warranties for Products & Services
- Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Custom work/development: 1-month workmanship warranty from delivery for defects directly attributable to us, limited to correction or re-performance during business hours.
- Sold equipment (not manufactured by us): as per the manufacturer’s warranty. Alterations, third-party modifications, and missing serial labels void warranty.
- Excluded: issues due to outdated/unsupported software, third-party tools/services, lack of maintenance, improper handling, or changes requested after acceptance.
13) Support
- We provide a free FAQ on the Site.
- Email support is available to Customers with an active warranty or a support plan.
- Requests outside scope, by phone/messaging, or caused by user error may be billable.
14) Intellectual property
- You retain IP in your original files/content.
- We retain IP in our designs, templates, software, scripts, jigs, and processes created or used to provide Services, unless a written transfer is agreed (subject to a separate fee).
- You may not redistribute or reuse our deliverables beyond the intended, agreed project without our written consent. We may include a discreet brand mark on physical or digital deliverables unless you request otherwise in writing.
15) Data & privacy
- We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Data handling is further described in our Privacy Policy.
16) Confidentiality
Both parties will keep confidential information received from the other party confidential and use it only to perform the contract. Quotes, internal documentation, and training materials must not be shared with third parties without consent.
17) Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, downtime, data loss).
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Product or Service giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights under Swiss law.
18) Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., power/cyber incidents, supply chain issues, illness, natural events, strikes, carrier or customs delays).
19) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on 3detplus.ch at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
20) Severability
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that best reflects the original intent.
21) Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The courts of the Canton of Vaud (place of jurisdiction: Nyon) have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers.
