Description
Rebase A0 — Cooling & Mounting Base for Recore
The Rebase A0 is an actively and passively cooled enclosure for the Recore 3D printer control board. Its black anodised aluminium body acts as a heat sink for the high-power sections of the board while providing a sturdy mounting base.
Key Features
- Black anodised aluminium body — effective passive heat dissipation
- Active + passive cooling — reduces overall board temperature during printing
- Increased component lifetime — lower operating temperatures extend the life of the board
- Higher current capacity — improved thermal management increases maximum current draw on high-power connectors
- Magnetic cover — magnets slide into the 3D-printed cover for easy access
- DIN-rail mountable — printable DIN-rail holders available
What’s Included
- 1 × Rebase A0 aluminium base
- 4 × M3×8 mounting screws
- Thermal pads
Installation
Cut the thermal pads to fit the two elevated points in the bottom of the base for thermal conductivity between the aluminium heat sink and the PCB. Mount the Recore board with the 4 M3×8 screws. The magnetic cover attaches to the screw heads.
Cover options: fully 3D-printed, or a 3D-printed skirt with an acrylic top to see the indicator LEDs during setup. CAD files available on GitHub.
Compatibility
Designed for Recore A5, A6, A7 and A8 control boards.
Manufacturer
The Rebase A0 is designed and manufactured by Intelligent Agent AS (iAgent), based in Norway.
