The Monster Kossel – Custom 3D Printer

The Monster Kossel – Custom 3D Printer

Built to order. Designed around your needs.
The Monster Kossel is our fully customizable, large-format Delta 3D printer. Unlike off-the-shelf machines, it is tailored to your requirements — size, materials, and performance — making it ideal for businesses, labs, and advanced users who need more than standard equipment can offer.

  • Scalable design
Built as a Delta-type printer, the Monster can be resized to suit your requirements – whether you need extra height, larger build volumes, or a compact but powerful unit.
  • Precision at scale
Even with tall prints, Delta mechanics keep the part stable for consistent accuracy.
  • Flexible extrusion system
A lightweight print head with remote motor allows for direct extrusion without slowing movement. The result: faster printing and better control with flexible or high-performance filaments.
  • Custom enclosure options
Choose a closed, heated chamber with filtered ventilation for advanced materials, or keep it open for standard work.
  • Advanced cooling
Options include air-cooled or water-cooled nozzles depending on your setup.
  • Silent operation
Engineered to be quiet enough to run in offices, labs, or workshops without disruption.

What makes it different?

  • Made-to-measure: Each Monster is designed and assembled based on your specifications.
  • Component flexibility: We select the best components on the market, independent of any single supplier.
  • Future-proof: Open-source foundation means your machine can be upgraded or modified as your needs evolve.
  • Swiss expertise: Designed and assembled in our Gland workshop, with full after-sales support.

Lead time & ordering process

The Monster Kossel is a long-lead-time custom printer. Each project begins with a consultation where we define your needs and create a specification sheet.

Typical steps:

  1. Initial consultation (online or in person at our Gland workshop)
  2. Draft specifications and quotation
  3. Ordering of parts (approx. 2 weeks)
  4. Assembly, calibration, and testing at 3D ETPLUS
  5. Delivery and installation (if required)
